This is a wonderful Frontpage book that describes in simple language exactly how you design and create interesting web pages. It doesn’t pretend to cover everything. So you may need a couple of other books like “Running Microsoft Frontpage 98″ and “Stupid Web Tricks” by Jim Buyens, to help fill in the gaps. I’d give it 5 stars.

An absolutely terrific combination of Microsoft FrontPage and its Image Composer software module. When evaluating textbooks for my Creating Web Pages class, I could not find one book that combines these two software products in an easy step-by-step, hands-on format under one cover.

Today there’s a lot of competition for business revenue online. There will be plenty more in the years to come. A number of marketing companies, book publishers, and online business gurus offer loads of helpful advice to people seeking to improve their bottomlines. Often overlooked though is the need to design Websites that will effectively promote the products and services they were intended to. Mary Jo Fahey, the author of one of my favorite Website design books, Web Publisher’s Design Guide for Windows, has written Web Advertising and Marketing by Design to offer her readers information necessary to add essential Website advertising and marketing tools to any site. Advertising and marketing theory along with creative Website design principles are masterfully brought together in this one book! The author gracefully moves from one topic to the next, fully illustrating how to add the latest features and programming that will attract new business and bring people back again. Online news reporting, press kits, press releases, catalogs, registration forms, advertising, and the use of search engines can add a powerful punch to any business operation. The use of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, FrontPage, Image Composer, Word, and Outlook are covered. Website design is a crucial part of the overall marketing plan that cannot be ignored. A good Website will attract people, generate a favorable response from them, and bring them back! How does your Website measure up? The author’s own mastery of HTML programming, her eye for creative layout design, and the desire to teach others makes this book a gold mine of great marketing design ideas! Highly recommended!

the book’s title is very good and attractive to many people who want to learn more from Internet marketing. I found most part of it is teaching you how to use Frontpage, IE. So, if you want to learn more about Internet marketing tools or concepts, you learn few from it. END
